I'm sizing my toilets to see if they are compatible with the Toto Jasmin. The chart I'm using is here.

The D meaurement is not making sense to me. As I read it, the toilet must be a minimum of 9 inches from the center to the edge.
I've measured a few toilets around the house (2 American Standard and 1 Kohler Cimarron) and none of them are 9 inches from the center. All of them are in the neighborhood of 7 to 7.5"
Are toilets made in this range, 9 inches on center? An 18" wide toilet?
That's where it doesn't make sense. That seems extremely wide. Especially for a Japanese manufacturer whose target customer is most likely a bit narrower than your average American.
Anyways, hoping someone could shed some light on this.
Thanks!
Steve
